A Personal Trainer provides members with the best possible fitness experience by giving them the tools, direction, and motivation to help them succeed. He or she must have the communication and interpersonal skills to educate and inspire members to meet their goals and to motivate clients to give their best on a daily basis. The Personal Trainer must be committed to the members, reliable to his or her co-workers, and must maintain his or her work space in a clean and functional manner.
The ideal candidate for this position has a degree in Exercise Science or a related field, two years experience as a Personal Trainer with varied populations, at least one certification from an accredited organization, and current certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid. He or she has exceptional interpersonal skills and is willing/available to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
Position is Commission Based and includes use of the Club.
