About the Job:

Responsible for planning, development and implementation of All Sport Health & Fitness marketing plans.  This includes directing the efforts of the marketing & creative teams, in-house staff and outside freelance consultants.  The candidate will also be responsible for implementing marketing plans for the company. Drives the company’s efforts to position itself as a leader in the health and fitness category and a partner and hub for the community at large.

  • Participate in development of and manage marketing budget.
  • Be an effective communicator of the company’s mission, as well as a role model for the company culture.
  • Marketing planning including working with internal stake-holders to develop appropriate messaging and positioning.
  • Oversee marketing communications including branding, advertising, direct mail marketing, and events.
  • Build a promotion plan, which includes a year - long promotion calendar featuring seasonal, themed, and ongoing priorities.
  • Oversee ideation, design and production of collateral materials, including newsletters, DM campaigns, email campaigns, and the company website.
  • Supervise development of content for social, web, collateral.
  • Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities.
  • Define and direct marketing programs for demand creation, and lead generation
  • Work with key stake holders to create membership development programs.


Professional Requirements


  • 5 + year’s experience in a progression of marketing roles
  • Excellent communication, written and oral skills
  • Is clear, concise, persuasive and able to defend and build a case for your POV
  • A good listener and shows interest in what others have to say
  • Demonstrates initiative and creativity in all work efforts.
  • Goes beyond expectation, demonstrating commitment and purpose.
  • Able to mobilize, persuade and influence others
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and tactical levels to consistently meet/exceed planned objectives.
  • Demonstrates ability to manage marketing activities
  • Effective and confident public speaking skills and presence
  • Capacity for leadership and growth


Educational Requirements:


  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Advertising. Communications or related industry
